I hope you like this overnight apple oats with yogurt recipe.
We moved from Ontario to British Columbia straight out of college. Zed and I were dating and we assumed that our jobs at a radio station would be a little starting point before we headed back to Ontario and got jobs at larger stations.
But, something happened. We fell in love with each other and Western Canada Living. Soon, we bought a house, had a baby, got pregnant with another baby, bought a bigger house, got new jobs and pretty much decided that British Columbia would be our forever province. I mean, can you blame us? There is a spirit here like no other.
When I heard that Olympic Yogurt is made right in Delta, British Columbia with 100% natural ingredients and fresh milk from cows who live close to their dairies, I knew that this was a product that would go with our lifestyle. I love how their products contain no gelatins, no gluten and no preservatives. I love the new look too, it is pure B.C with the mountains on the logo. It is not easy to miss in the dairy aisle.
Speaking of lifestyle.
We have a busy one.
That is why I started making overnight oats with yogurt. I like using Olympic Organic Vanilla yogurt because I like how it compliments the taste of the apple to give it an apple crumble taste. I know with their farm fresh ingredients, I can count on Olympic to bring something wholesome to our breakfast table. What I also love about this recipe is that they are easy to pack when we go on hikes and get into the West Coast Spirit of life.
Overnight Apple Oats with Olympic Organic Vanilla Yogurt
Use a small glass container and layer
1/3 cup oats (all oats work, most people like steel oats)
1/3 cup of milk (rice, almond and whey milk all work too)
1 chopped apple
3 table spoons of Olympic Organic Vanilla Yogurt
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Put the lid on your container, shake and chill for 8 hours.
Good nature. Good people. Good yogurt.
Although this post has been generously sponsored by Olympic, the opinions and language are my own.
