I have to be honest. When I opened the package to see what was sent to me, I wasn’t too sure about it. I mean, its not the movie. It’s Shrek The Musical. Then Whirlwind got a hold of it and went bananas.

She started to hug and kiss it. Which was sort of weird, right?

I mean we love musicals.

Like, love love love musicals.

I never miss even a local highschool performance.

But, I have never watched one on DVD before. Sure, I have copies on VHS of some of the highschool musicals I was in, but I don’t ever watch them. I move them around from apartment to apartment to house just for the fun of it. I like to hoard them.

But this is AWESOME!

My five year old daughter was in musical heaven.

That warmed my heart like a hot damn.

 

 

And now I want to do is take her to New York so we can see that damn donkey in person. But this is truly the next best thing. It’s taped in such a way that it feels like a movie. They used something like 10 cameras to film it live from Broadway.

Cool, eh.

 

And, I think I have a new idea for our family Halloween Costume! I can’t wait to see Zed dressed as Fiona.
