Today was the day for Walmart Frugal Heroes Back To School Shop.  The basic idea is that annoying people  bloggers are asked to take on a challenge at Walmart and keep it under $100.  I guess I was soooo amazing at it last time that they asked me back again.

 

I was able to pick from a bunch of challenges like; decorate your child’s room, healthy lunches for two weeks for 2 kids, clothe 2 kids for school and yada yada yada.

Luckily, Whirlwind is going to a school where you pay a $30 Kindergarten fee and they cover all her supplies for a year.  But, there still was a few things that she needed.

 

This is what we purchased;

Underwear

Socks

Dance Outfit

Thermos Lunch kit

Thermos Hot Cold container

Rubbermaid Water bottle

Goody Hair ties

Goody Hair barrettes

Smurf T-shirt

Leggings

Motts Apple sauce

And I am not sucking up when I add that the Walmart staff was awesome. The lady working in the shoe section was beyond awesome. And the woman at the till was great when I had to remove sunglasses for me a few items.
