My Mom drives me crazy.

It is because we are practically the same person.

The one thing that My Mom always said to me when I was a kid was to “keep your chin up and remember who you are.”  And when I was down in the dumps and she told me that it would really tick me off.

But, now that I am a Mom, I find myself saying that to my daughter.  I know she is only five. And this might sound ridiculous, but its true.  I want her to be the kind of kid that “keeps her chin up” and I when she is in a situation that makes her a uncomfortable, I want her to “remember who she is.”
